Welcome to Ho-oh 59’s Poke’mon
Gym, now with its own domain name and a cooler theme too! I am Ho-oh 59, the
leader of this Gym. If you’re from the RE League, you’ll be looking for my BigBang Badge, huh? Well, I have to tell you, I am a
formidable opponent! I’ve beaten quite a few of the other RE League Gyms, and
my Poke’mon are at quite a
high level! So maybe you should think twice before you challenge me…
Aside from the RE League Gym, there are plenty of
other things you’ll find here in my Gym! If you’re brand new to this site, you

Updates
4/5/07: Sheesh, has it really been that long? Stupid other stuff
keeping me occupied. I’m terribly sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been
terribly busy. I just thought I’d post this to let you all know I’m alive! I’ve
updated the sections with a description of what they are.
Expect something massive soon, however…
6/11/06: After
nearly four months, I’m finally making a major update.
-New section: Raikou’s Poke’mon Stadium! In this section, two Poke’mon
will go up against each other and battle it out.
-Zapdos has now answered 50
questions
-Updated Ho-oh 59’s Biographies so that they are now
accurate
-New character in Ho-oh 59’s Biographies, Pandy!
-Moltres reviews single
cards now instead of summarizing a set (too much effort he said)
-Lugia details a few more
glitches in his Glitch Quest
-New adopted monster, Oblivion (a Bennu
Egg), already Level 4
Whew! Quite a lot to catch up on in
one update, huh?
2/16/06: As you may have noticed, the site
did not work for about a week. This marks the one-year anniversary of Ho-oh
59's Poke'mon Gym! Thanks to all who have
visited...the reason the site was not up was because there was some trouble
paying the $100 annual fee, but it's fixed now.
I have also returned Lugia's
Glitch Quest at the request of a few individuals. But the forum still has not
received posts. As stated above, you will get banned from the Poke'mon Gym if you have signed up but have not posted (or
at least given a reason for not posting). This is ridiculous. I really should
not have to resort to desperate measures such as these. So consider this a
warning.
12/29/05: I’ve got two updates today. First
of all, I’ve updated the timeline. I’ve added in spots for the RE League games,
which were not on the timeline before, as well as a spot for Poke’mon XD: Gale of Darkness.
The second “update” is more disappointing. I have
hereby closed Lugia’s Glitch Quest to the public due
to prolonged inactivity in the Poke’mon Gym Forums.
Newcomers, I apologize, but I am trying to build Poke’mon
Gym up and make it more enjoyable among visitors. Take note that all I asked
for was a bit of posting on the forum over the last two weeks, and since no one
bothered to do that, I will be locking the sections of this site one by one
until the activity in the Poke’mon Gym is up to
satisfactory levels. Again, sorry newcomers.
12/13/05: I
really don’t want to resort to complaining about issues such as these on the
main page, but the Poke’mon Gym Forum activity is
seriously low. I know many of you have tried the games and quizzes there, but I
am asking that you also try to post on the forums as well…maybe once a week or
even once a month if you can’t get on so often. Posting on the forum and expanding
it would greatly help the Poke’mon Gym. A person by
the name of Gold Yoshi has already posted in the Site
Improvements section, and I thank him for that.
I will begin locking sections of the site to the
general public if by Christmas nobody other than Gold Yoshi
has at least taken the time to post one post on the forums. I cannot lock the BigBang Gym, as that’s a violation of RE League Rules, but Lugia’s new section on Glitch Poke’mon
will be among the first sections to go should I have to resort to the above.
It really isn’t much to ask to just enter Poke’mon
Gym, click register, log on, and post the stats of your custom Poke’mon or your team or something. For those of you who
have not joined the forum and have not posted at all, this is a warning... your
first and final warning.
11/22/05: For the first time in months, I’ve added a new
article to Ho-oh 59’s Thoughts! It deals with Leviathan, my Battling Dragons
creature.
11/20/05: Thanks to all who voted in the Poke'mon Gym poll! Lugia has earned a section of his own! It's called Lugia's Glitch Quest, and it deals with the little-known glitch Poke'mon like MissingNo. It also shows you how to find glitches, and even has a list of what damage each one can cause!
As for other updates, Zapdos has a few more questions answered in Zapdos' FAQs. Also, I've added a new quiz on the Poke'mon TCG, and I've changed the poll in Poke'mon Gym.
9/30/05: Long time, no updates! I was really busy, but…for
those who haven’t noticed I’ve done some work on The Poke’mon
Gym. I’ve added a couple sections for creating your own Poke’mon
Cards and Poke’mon, as well as a new quiz about the Poke’mon TV Show. Be sure to check out these new exciting
goodies in The Poke’mon Gym.
Also, I have an announcement. 18 people have already voted on the Poll
for which legendary Poke’mon should get their next
unique section. By the next update, whichever legendary Poke’mon
has the most votes will get a new section! So if you haven’t voted already, be
sure to do so.
Also, Articuno has two more Anime Reviews, and Zapdos has some more questions answered.
6/21/05: Not
much in the way of updates this time, but I have added some more Questions to Zapdos' FAQs, as well as an
article about Team Rocket to Thoughts.
Another note is
that Leviathan has finally hatched! He is now a Hatchling, and has better stats
than before, although he did get his second loss to a Ryu
Carp (that challenged him, no less)...
