Information about legendary Poke'mon

Legendary Poke'mon are ultra-powerful Poke'mon created by Mewtwo, the original legendary Poke'mon who was cloned from Mew. All eight of Mewtwo's legendary Poke'mon live together in a massive family cave. Legendary Poke'mon have a lifespan of about 500 years, except for me and Moltres, the phoenixes, who can burn themselves at the end of that time and then get reborn. Since Mewtwo is a psychic Poke'mon, all legendary Poke'mon have psychic power to a certain extent (this psychic power is not usually as strong as the legendary Poke'mon's element type in the game, though).

Legendary Poke'mon gain strength inside the family cave until they are about two years of age, which is when they are strong enough to be able to defeat most Poke'mon, and thus end up appearing in Mewtwo's plots.

Whenever a legendary Poke'mon is bad, he is put in the infamous underground jail, just like a criminal. The sentence is not usually as harsh or as tough as that of a real criminal, however. Whenever a legendary Poke'mon is good, he temporarily gains access to his secret room. This is a reward because every legendary Poke'mon has a lot of fun stuff that he can only access whilst in his secret room.

The legendary Poke'mon live like a normal family, except that they are much busier. Legendary Poke'mon are not required to attend school, like humans are, as they naturally learn things on their own as they grow up. They have to spend a lot of time with Mewtwo, however, to devise attack plans and stuff (like in the army).

Okay, enough with that, let's move on to the information about each legendary Poke'mon in our family!

Mewtwo

Favorite Food: Stat-enhancing drugs (Carbos, Protein, HP Up, etc.)

Favorite Pastime: Defeating Poke'mon

Favorite Sport: Poke'mon battles

Favorite Video Game: Poke'mon Red/Blue

Favorite Poke'mon: Charizard

Favorite part of being in Jail: Never has to go!

Strongest attack: Psychic

Mewtwo is the first (or second, if you count Mew as a legendary Poke'mon) legendary Poke'mon created. He is 6'7", and looks like a giant cat. He has strong Psychic powers, and is perhaps the strongest of all Poke'mon. His Psychic attack can faint almost any Poke’mon in one hit. Mewtwo was first created in a Poke'mon Lab as a clone of Mew. However, the scientists decided to enhance Mew's DNA to make the Mew clone more powerful, and they succeeded...perhaps too well. Mewtwo is extremely hostile and can't stand being in a Poke'Ball. Mewtwo is the genetic master that created all of us legendary birds and dogs. He is also the father of us all (although we simply call him "Master Mewtwo"). He's a pretty strict father, and although he does have some love for us legendary Poke'mon, he does punish us pretty bad when we make mistakes, and puts us to work training. But he is truly a unique master, who you will find nowhere else in the universe. He’s one of a kind. There’s nobody else as powerful and crazy as him.

"We will conquer the Poke'mon Planet if it is the last thing we do! We will become new legends and I will be your faithful leader..." -Mewtwo

Articuno

Favorite Food: Anything with sugar, also likes ice cream

Favorite Pastime: Doing random stuff (usually related to ice)

Favorite Sport: Hockey

Favorite Video Game: Ice Climbers

Favorite Poke'mon: Lapras

Favorite part of being in Jail: Can make the cell icy

Strongest Attack: Blizzard

Articuno was the first legendary Poke'mon ever created by Mewtwo, and will stick around for years to come. He is a loyal friend who isn’t afraid to share the spotlight with the other legendary Poke’mon. He is of the Ice-type, and likes the cold. He is 5'7", with blue feathers and wings that look as if they are made of ice, and is almost always in a cheery mood. Articuno is very pleasant to be around. Being a combination Ice/Flying type Poke'mon, it is only natural that Articuno likes cold things. He likes the formations being formed in the family cave, and he loves to eat sweet sugar and candy foods. But then again, who doesn't? Aside for this, there really isn't much to say about Articuno, because, like Suicune he never really does much on his own. I suppose ice has a price, huh? But make sure you watch out for when he’s angry, as he’ll hit you with a Blizzard attack and freeze you solid. Some Poke’mon take all summer to thaw out.

In Ho-oh 59’s Poke’mon Gym, he reviews the anime episodes to give website viewers some feedback of his opinion – Articuno is a big fan of the TV series, you see. Hopefully Mewtwo won’t view him as being a traitor for liking to watch Ash’s show…

"My life is like a stalagmite. It keeps getting bigger and better." - Articuno

Zapdos

Favorite Food: Potions

Favorite Pastime: Electronics

Favorite Sport: None, hates sports

Favorite Video Game: Poke'mon Stadium

Favorite Poke'mon: Raichu

Favorite part of being in Jail: Getting to practice flips on his own

Strongest attack: Thunderbolt

Zapdos is an Electric-Flying type Poke'mon. He is 5'3", and is the smallest of all legendary Poke'mon. His wings are spiked, with yellow and black feathers aligned in a pattern similar to that of Electabuzz. Although he is the smallest legendary bird, he is probably rivalled only by Raikou in electric powers. Zapdos is the most playful of the three original legendary birds. He likes video games, especially Poke'mon Stadium. Zapdos is also quite strong physically, strong enough so that Raikou, even though he is also an Electric type and some may argue that they are therefore rivals, usually leaves him alone. Between his strong Thunderbolt attack, his quick thinking, and his fast flying, he is certainly a force to be reckoned with in battle – not enough of a force for Ash and Pikachu though. Will nothing work?

In Ho-oh 59's Poke'mon Gym, Zapdos answers questions that visitors have about the legendary Poke'mon way of life. He relies on Ho-oh 59 to do this, however, and I'm not sure if this site is yet popular enough to really get some good questions from visitors.

"Ooh, beat that score, Raikou!" - Zapdos

Moltres

Favorite Food: Fried Eggs

Favorite Pastime: Making fun of the other legendaries

Favorite Sport: Poke'mon battles

Favorite Video Game: Poke'mon Trading Card Game

Favorite Poke'mon: Arcanine

Favorite part of being in Jail: Getting a chance to think of more pranks to pull

Strongest attack: Fire Blast

Moltres is one of two phoenix legendary Poke'mon, the other being Ho-oh 59. He is 6'7", the largest of the three original legendary birds, and the first Fire-type legendary created. He has red feathers, and his wings look as if they are on fire. Unlike Ho-oh 59, the other phoenix legendary bird, Moltres does not really like to take an active role in things. He does, however, like to tease the other legendary Poke'mon (all the legendary Poke'mon tease each other to a certain extent, but Moltres likes to more than any other). Fortunately, though, Moltres is not that strong of a fighter. He is the second weakest to Suicune, and he may turn tail if the person he is teasing strikes back. But he is still one of the strongest Fire-type Poke’mon, and while you’re trying to tend to your emotional wounds, watch out for his Fire Blast!

In Ho-oh 59's Poke'mon Gym, Moltres reviews the Poke'mon Cards. He got tired of summarizing them in a set, and now reviews single cards – a show of just how lazy he can be. But Moltres truly is a fiery bird! You never know just what this hothead might do next!

"There are seven legendary Poke'mon plus one runt. And...that would be Zapdos." - Moltres

Raikou

Favorite Food: Shock Tarts (the sourness of them powers up his electric attacks)

Favorite Pastime: Beating up the other legendary Poke'mon

Favorite Sport: Wrestling

Favorite Video Game: Super Smash Bros. Melee

Favorite Poke'mon: Dragonite

Favorite part of being in Jail: Becomes stronger

Strongest attack: Thunder

Raikou is the first legendary dog created, and he is also the most combative of all the legendary Poke'mon. Back off, ‘cause the name says it all. Whether in Ho-oh 59’s Poke’mon Gym, the cave, or on adventures, Raikou is all business, if by business you mean destroying everything in your path. Raikou’s Thunder attack will make even the most focused Poke’mon shocked. He is 6'3", and has yellow and black fur, similar to Zapdos. He also has the ability to carry thunderclouds on his back that allow him to shoot lightning bolts at will. Raikou is also the strongest of the legendary dogs, and is the one who likes to act tough. He often attacked Poke'mon Trainers, but never with a good plan in mind because he is more brawn than brain. I'm not sure why he hasn't struck Ash and his friends, though (he never stars in a Poke'mon movie or American TV Show episode), and in the Japanese Poke'mon films only co-stars in a little-known adventure. He claims that this is because Ash is backed up by Misty and Brock, but since when did that kind of thing stop him? In Ho-oh 59’s Poke’mon Gym, Raikou acts as the macho, bully-like, legendary dog he was created as – people rarely dare to make fun of him, and the battles in his newly built Poke’mon Stadium serve as a constant reminder of his strength. It is rumored that he is hiding a secret about him that relates to why he has such an awful temper, but only time will tell.

"Get away from that yen bill, it's mine! Do you want to fight me? Huh? Do you?" -Raikou

Entei

Favorite Food: Rock Candy

Favorite Pastime: Playing around in Rock Mountain

Favorite Sport: Olympics

Favorite Video Game: Dig-Dug

Favorite Poke'mon: Golem

Favorite part of being in Jail: Gets to dig for Poke'mon in the dirt

Strongest attack: Fire Blast (himself), Earthquake (his Poke’mon)

Entei is the second legendary dog that Mewtwo created. He is all brown and white, 6'11", and although his powers are based around Fire, Entei took an instant liking to Ground and Rock poke'mon. He has an enormous mountain of rocks that he made himself in his massive secret room that he calls Rock Mountain. Entei has recently become a Poke'mon Trainer, just like me and Mewtwo, and trains his Rock-Poke'mon in Rock Mountain. In Poke'mon The Movie: 3, Molly, a young girl, believed that Entei was her father. Entei therefore acted as her guardian. He stopped at nothing to protect Molly, which sometimes meant that he had to attack others to make sure Molly was safe. This changed, however, when things became crystallized due to the psychic Poke'mon with 26 (really 28, letters A-Z plus ! and ?) forms, Unown. After that adventure is when Entei started training Rock Poke'mon. He's even got his own wild Poke'mon selection for Rock Mountain, which ranges from Zubats to Dittos, and he trains rock Poke'mon inside Rock Mountain. Like all legendary dogs, Entei does not yet have a role in Ho-oh 59's Poke'mon Gym. But that does not mean you should pick on him – Entei is very unpredictable and has been known to run wild, stampeding everything in his path – especially when he’s angry with his Poke’mon.

"Up to Level 50 and still getting stronger...how good can I get?" -Entei

Suicune

Favorite Food: Rare Candy

Favorite Pastime: Working out

Favorite Sport: Football

Favorite Video Game: Poke'mon Ruby/Sapphire

Favorite Poke'mon: Blastoise

Favorite part of being in Jail: Trying to destroy the bars

Strongest attack: Hydro Pump

Suicune is a 6'7" legendary dog with blue fur and a crystal on his head. Although he is classified as purely a Water Poke'mon in the video games, his powers reside with both water and ice. Suicune's most noticable appearance is in Poke'mon 4Ever, when he helped Ash and Sam rescue Celebi. He could have taken a more active role, but Suicune is really a pretty lazy legendary dog. Suicune is probably the weakest of all the legendary Poke'mon, but that's not saying much. It wouldn't be fair to call him a wimp, because is stronger than a lot of other Water and Ice-type Poke'mon, but he's just not as dangerous as some of the other legendary Poke'mon, unless, of course, he fights on a team with Articuno. But that doesn’t mean he can’t hurt - those who cross this dog might find themselves a little wet. From his powerful Hydro Pump attack! But Suicune is too lazy as a whole. He has hardly done anything on his own, making him the most unnoticed of all the legendary dogs. He only really fights when the legendary Poke'mon carry on a collective quest (which is not terribly often). He took an active role in Poke’mon 4Ever, but beyond that, he hasn’t done much by himself that makes him different from any of the other legendary Poke’mon. He does not yet have a role in Ho-oh 59's Poke'mon Gym, but he will soon, if he would just do something.

"Let's go for a hike. I mean, let's hit Raikou when he isn't looking! I mean...uh...oh, I don't know what I mean!" -Suicune

Lugia

Favorite Food: Fish, sometimes even mermaids on occasion

Favorite Pastime: Diving, exploring the universe

Favorite Sport: NASCAR

Favorite Video Game: Poke'mon Stadium 2

Favorite Poke'mon: Kingdra

Favorite part of being in Jail: Can use his powers to experience wonderful things (and has fun)

Strongest attack: Aeroblast

Lugia is a huge white bird, measuring 17'1" in height. He's the only leegndary Poke'mon larger than Ho-oh 59, and if you're not careful he'll simply overpower you. Ho-oh 59 and Lugia instantly became friends after we were created. Lugia's personality is a lot like Ho-oh 59's in that he is really strong and likes to sic his powers on others, except that he is not quite as vengeful as Ho-oh 59. Lugia is the legendary Poke'mon that likes travelling to other universes the most. He is therefore the one that is into the RPGs the most, and is a Final Fantasy fan. This is probably the only area that Ho-oh 59 disagrees with Lugia in, as Ho-oh 59 hates the Playstation 2. He keeps this secret from Lugia, however. When the going gets nasty, Lugia won’t hesitate to break out his fan-tastic Aeroblast move – “WHOOM!!!” is the sound as Lugia blows high speed gusts towards the enemy Poke’mon that inflict incredible damage.

Lugia has a job of investigating the mysterious glitch Poke’mon in Ho-oh 59’s Poke’mon Gym. Given the fact that he is so hard to faint, he can easily hunt down glitch Poke’mon such as MissingNo without worry. This is a practice that trainers should never do, for their own good. Hopefully he isn’t lying, given that we must all take his word for it.

"The answer is probably 28, but you should ask Ho-oh if you really want to know." - Lugia

Ho-oh 59

Favorite Food: Doesn't need to eat, but sometimes eats sweet things when he wants to taste something good

Favorite Pastime: Fooling around at Lemmy's Land, beating up people who have hurt him in the past

Favorite Sport: Basketball

Favorite Video Game: Poke'mon Gold/Silver

Favorite Poke'mon: Victreebel, also his clones

Favorite part of being in Jail: Gets to prove his incredible strength by breaking down the bars

Strongest attack: Sacred Fire

Ho-oh 59 is a large (12’6” large) phoenix-like bird with red and white feathers. Normally Ho-oh 59 is peaceful and friendly, but as soon as you hurt him, watch out! Ho-oh 59 is the strongest of all the legendary Poke'mon, rivaled only by Raikou and Lugia, and he is a force to be reckoned with in battle. He's got plenty of tricks in store for anyone who makes him mad, so don't bash Poke'mon or beat up his favorite Koopa Kids if you know what's good for you! I mean, he can bring down the full fiery power of his Sacred Fire on anyone who crosses him, but that’s only one thing! So, basically, like Raikou, Ho-oh 59 enjoys revenge. Fortunately, Ho-oh 59 is less ruthless than Raikou, as he tends to only beat up people he thinks deserve it. He is never first to attack. People have tried to get revenge on Ho-oh 59 before, only to be fooled by his clone-creating defense. The real Ho-oh 59 knows when an attack is impending and moves out. The only real times Ho-oh 59 has gotten hurt are when the legendary Poke'mon are on a quest with Mewtwo, like in Poke'mon Gold/Silver.

In Ho-oh 59's Poke'mon Gym, Ho-oh is the boss of the whole Gym! He owns most of the sections, except for the few he donates to his siblings. Be sure to check out his roles in Lemmy’s Land if you haven’t been there too.

“Being better than Mewtwo is one thing, but being better than ME is impossible! Ha ha ha ha!" -Ho-oh 59

Pandy

Favorite Food: Berries

Favorite Pastime: Playing with the legendary Poke’mon, helping them out around the cave

Favorite Sport: Volleyball

Favorite Video Game: Whatever the legendary Poke’mon are playing at the time

Favorite Poke’mon: Jigglypuff

Favorite part of being in jail: Remembering what he did to get there (it was fun)

Strongest attack: Stare

Don’t think the world’s most powerful Poke’mon can keep a cuddly pink pet? Think again! Pandy is a pink “care bear”, and is not an official Poke’mon, but was nevertheless adopted by Mewtwo a few years ago. He acts as a pet would for any normal family – and follows Mewtwo’s orders. He is valued for his powerful Stare attack, which can deal a lot of damage even to legendary Poke’mon. At one time, Mewtwo wanted Pandy to use his stare on Pikachu, but Pandy flatly refused to act as a Poke’mon. He mostly spends time exploring the cave, playing with the legendary Poke’mon, and helping them out with their plans. He rarely goes on any adventures with them, mainly because Mewtwo has ordered him not to attack, otherwise he’d be out there in half a tick, even given that Ash has done nothing to hurt him. Pandy continues to live in the cave, and doesn’t yet have a role in Ho-oh 59’s Poke’mon Gym.

“Mewtwo is my master. I agree with everything he says, and if he hates Ash and Pikachu then I guess I hate Ash and Pikachu too.” -Pandy
